 History and Background

In 2004, Paul Kurz, Jr. established PKJ Construction, Inc., a general contractor focusing mainly on restaurant construction such as tenant improvement projects, restaurant renovation, and new construction projects.  The company resides in Orange County, California, but has served 37 states within the U.S. and has a client base consisting of a number of famous restaurant chains and specialty restaurant owners.  PKJ Construction, Inc. entered the highly competitive and extremely volatile industry as a tile installation subcontractor and custom millwork producer.  In an effort to diversify the company’s portfolio and reach a wider target audience, Paul Kurz decided to offer additional services such as stone, brick, concrete, and block installation.
